Hundreds of Summer Lifeguard Jobs Available in New Jersey

American Pool Management New Jersey (APM) has announced today that it is currently looking to fill hundreds of summer lifeguard positions. Lifeguarding jobs are still available in Bayonne, Belleville, Chatham, Clifton, Edgewater, Flanders, Flemington, Highland Park, Hackettstown, Lawrenceville, Monroe Township, New Brunswick, Phillipsburg, Rockaway Twp., Three Bridges, Tinton Falls, W. Long Branch, Whippany, Whitehouse Station, Washington and across New Jersey. High school students, college students and teachers are encouraged to apply.

In addition to lifeguard positions, APM is also hiring pool managers. As part of its promotional package, current employees of APM are now being offered discounted lifeguard training at $100. In-season bonus packages include holiday bonuses, Lifeguard and Pool of the Month awards and aSummer to Win program which encourages their lifeguards to do their best on the job.

APM is holding open interviews at their office every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Training will run regularly throughout the season as well. Even though APM still has over 200 positions available, “jobs are going fast,” according to Steve Farley, Coordinating Director of Lifeguard Recruiting. Farley also adds, “Why work inside when you can spend the summer working in the sun as a lifeguard? Now is the time to apply to secure your position.”
