PARTY LIKE AN IRONMAN. A Fundraiser to Benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and Richard A. Nest Senior Citizens Center

          Party Like An Ironman, a post-Ironman U.S. Championship party and fundraiser, will be held on Friday, October 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Assembly Steak House Restaurant, 495 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.  The celebration will benefit the Athletes to End Alzheimer’s, a chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and programming for seniors at the Richard A. Nest Senior Citizens Center in Fort Lee.  Admission is a $20 cash donation.

            The party will celebrate and thank all the volunteers, vendors, athletes, government officials, emergency personnel, and event organizers involved in the inaugural Ironman U.S. Championship (IMNY) event held in Fort Lee, sections of Bergen and Rockland Counties and New York City on August 11.  Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.  Triple Platinum DJs will keep the floor rockin'. 

            TriTrekker.com, the producer of the celebration and an official sponsor of the inaugural IMNY, will present a special video tribute of the Ironman event.  The company will also raffle a fully produced and edited 30-second Internet ready commercial to a lucky business owner.  Prizes will also be raffled from other sponsors. 

            Donna Brennan, a partner of TriTrekker.com, recorded the day-long event with a team of videographers and edited and co-produced with Maxim Almenas the video tribute.  Almenas, a partner of TriTrekker LLC, was a first time Ironman participant in the IMNY and trained with the Athletes To End Alzheimer's team.  He completed the Ironman in 16 hours and 28 minutes.
