THE GYM Englewood Hosts Fundraising Classes for Make-A-Wish ® New Jersey

Throughout the month of March 2013, THE GYM Englewood  will be conducting a variety of classes from which the proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish New Jersey. Their goal is to raise enough funds to grant a wish for a child’s trip to Disney World

The classes will be open to gym members and non-members alike on a first come, first serve basis. The suggested donation amount is $25 (cash or check only), and registration is required in advance. Sign-up sheets are located at the Customer Service Desk at THE GYM.

As an added method of fundraising, “Sponsorship Stars” will be available for purchase at THE GYM and will be displayed on premises with the sponsor’s name – $10 for a “Display Star”, and $20 for a T-shirt.  

“We are thrilled to be partnering with THE GYM Englewood!” said  Todd Shellenberger, Vice President of Development  for Make-A-Wish New Jersey. “It’s great to see that this organization is continuing its dedication to the community by helping to raise funds for children in Bergen County, who are battling life-threatening medical conditions.” Victoria Holmes, General Manager of THE GYM and Nurit Chaseman, Group Fitness Director add, ““We are excited about our new relationship with Make-A-Wish New Jersey. We are so glad to be able to support such a worthy cause and continue to touch the lives of many children in need.”

The following instructor-led classes are included in this year’s Make-A-Wish Foundation program:

• Wednesday, March 13^th - 8:20am - Spin with Nurit
  
  
• Thursday, March 14^th - 8:30am - Bosu Pump with Blanca
  
  
• Friday, March 15^th - 9:30am - Zumba Toning with Bianca
  
  
• Saturday, March 16^th - 8:30am - Kick Boxing with Mina
  
  
• Drumroll:

       Sunday March 17^th – St Patrick’s Day Make a
       Wish Spin-a-Thon at THE GYM starting at 
       8:15am with Nurit, Andrew and Jenn.
