Dogs Take Over Hudson River Shopping Center For Woofstock
3 dogs were adopted at the annual Edgewater event at City Place.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Three pups were adopted and dozens more strutted their stuff during a pooch parade at the fourth annual Woofstock at City Place in Edgewater.
Three pet rescue adoption and care services participated in the event: Bergen County Protect and Rescue (BCPR), Closter Animal Welfare Society and START II Animal Shelter.
Three dogs were adopted at the event, all from BCPR, including Apollo, a 2-year-old corgi/cavalier mix. A nearby Cliffside Park family adopted him.

"The event was exciting and very well put together," said Sosse Stephanian from BCPR. "It was a particularly successful day for BCPR. There out of the five rescue dogs we brought to the event were adopted and brought home the same day. That is an exceptional ratio for us."
More than 50 dogs walked on a red carpet in the Puparazzi Pooch Parade.
