Classical Music Concert: Piano & Violin

Critically acclaimed for his “complete mind for the keyboard, innate musical imagination, remarkable maturity and passion,” Korean-American pianist Hyung-Do Kim has been studying the piano since the age of four. Born in 1996, he currently studies with Mr. Choong Mo Kang at The Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division.


Born in 1994, Jisoo Kim has been studying the violin since the age of five. Currently, she is attending her first year at Princeton University. Jisoo graduated from Juilliard Pre-College Division last year under the instruction of Ms. Naoko Tanaka. Her playing has been praised for “its gracefulness, color and expressive temperament and projection in performance.” 


The program will include: Chopin Polonaise-Fantasie in A-Flat Major, Op. 61

Scriabin Fantasie in b minor, op. 28; Schumann Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor, Op. 105; Tchaikovsky Souvenir d'un lieu cher, Op.42 and Saint-Saens/Ysaye Caprice d'après l'Etude en forme de Valse.


FREE ADMISSION. Seating is limited. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
