The mission of the United Republican Club of Fort Lee is to identify and to increase understanding of the most pressing political issues facing our town, New Jersey, and America. We provide our members with an opportunity to hear informative speakers, and to engage in discussions on topics of interest to active Republican citizens in the regular and special meetings.
The Club provides a platform for debate, and consideration of Republican values and beliefs. As a result of open discussions, The Club may endorse a slate of candidates in elections, recommend the enactment of legislation, raise funds, and educate the citizens of Fort Lee on issues affecting their daily lives.
The monthly meetings of the United Republican Club of Fort Lee offer members the chance to hear speakers on a variety of topics by a number of prominent Republican leaders including current office holders, mayors of towns and cities in the area, representatives of civic organizations. In election years, The Club offers invitations to candidates for local, county, state, and national office to appear in debates or town hall style meetings.
