Captain Hugh will present “Flora and Fauna of the Hackensack River Watershed “ illustrating and discussing many of the plant and animal species that can be found in and around northeast New Jersey. While some species will be common and expected, many others will amaze you with their presence in this most populated corner of the most populous state in the Union. Presented with candor, humor and lots of personal stories and reflections, this presentation is sure to satisfy audience members young and old and hopefully inspire you to get outside and find your own inner naturalist!
