JULY 19, 2012 – PARAMUS, N.J. – The Bergen County Chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (B.C.S.P.C.A.) is pleased to announce it will benefit from the generous efforts of the Rochelle Park Knights of Columbus #2842.

The Council will host a Beefsteak Dinner and Comedy Night on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m., held at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 235 Rochelle Avenue in Rochelle Park, N.J. Tickets are $50 each and include dinner and show – no extra charge for laughs!
Comedian Jeff Norris and friends promise a fun night. Jeff is a veteran of both the U.S. and L.A. Comedy Festivals and has performed nationally. His frequent appearances in New York City, Atlantic City and Las Vegas, N.V. contribute to his regular guest spots on radio shows such as “Opie and Anthony.” Jeff has appeared numerous times on stage and screen and is a celebrity voice impersonator.
Rubina Abbatiello, president of the Bergen County S.P.C.A., encourages supporters from Bergen, Passaic and Hudson counties to come enjoy the evening. “Your participation in the evening is not only fun but supports our efforts to protect animals locally.”

About Bergen County SPCA
Founded in 1927 the Bergen County S.P.C.A. is a non-profit law enforcement organization which works within the State of New Jersey, specifically in the Bergen County area, to investigate and prosecute complaints of animal cruelty. We work very closely with the various local police departments within the county and also educate the public regarding the New Jersey State Title IV animal cruelty laws to help protect companion animals.
