Mother's Day Music Concert

The Fort Lee Library welcomes back Shyps & Roses for a special Mother’s Day concert featuring sopranos Olga Shyp and Elena Mindlina accompanied by pianist Pavel Gintov.  Olga Shyp is a Fort Lee resident and co-founder of a vocal ensemble “Shyps & Roses” (ShypsAndRoses.com), formerly known as “Piques Dames”. In March 2012, the group won third place in the International Vocal
Ensemble Competition in Fukushima, Japan. The ensemble brought to Fukushima hundreds of drawings, cards and handwritten messages of encouragement and support from Fort Lee residents. Program will include traditional duets such as “Belle Nuit” from Tales of Hoffman and “Cat’s Duet” as well as original arrangements by “Shyps & Roses” including “O mio babbino caro” and “Quando m'en vo”.

Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Seating is limited, early arrival recommended.
