The New York Times has praised the Chroma Piano Trio's members as having "a vigorous, carefully shaped... [and] polished performance, with energy and elegance finely balanced." Nurit Pacht, Caroline Stinson and Priya Mayadas
will explore two Beethoven Piano trios back to back, the famous 'Ghost' trio, Opus 70 from his middle period, and the Kakadu Variations, Opus 121a, the last of the trios to be published. The musicians share a musical vision: to play
with expressive resonance and every gradation of color and intensity, or chroma.
