Family Reports Body of Paige Aiello Found

The body discovered Wednesday in the Hudson River is Hillsborough's Paige Aiello, her sister told NJ.com Thursday.

Aiello, a senior at The College of New Jersey, was last seen April 9 by her family. A search of the river near the George Washington Bridge was undertaken after her purse and personal items were found there later that night.

The Port Authority reported discovering a female body in the river Wednesday while searching for another person missing who was last seen on the GWB.

In the report, Aiello's sister Erin reported the family was told today that Paige had been found.

Official confirmation by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, which has been leading the investigation into her disappearance, has not been made yet.
