WHAT: Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) – which works on
behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at
risk for anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction) – is bringing its
national Walk for Food Allergy to Ridgewood, NJ on Sunday, October 27. FARE’s
mission is to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals with food
allergies while relentlessly seeking a cure. This family-friendly event seeks
to raise funds and awareness for food allergy advocacy, education and research
programs. This year the walk will feature additional ways that attendees can
raise awareness through a new program offered by presenting sponsor Mylan
Specialty L.P. More information about the program and how to get involved at
the walk can be found at www.anaphylaxisrevealed.com.
