Man Racked Up $108K In Toll Violations And Fees: Port Authority
Alfonso M. Ordde, 42, was associated with more than 1,500 violations, police said.

FORT LEE, N.J. — A New York man was arrested after police discovered he racked up more than $108,000 in toll violations and fees.
Port Authority Police Officer Lionel Gonzalez was at the George Washington Bridge toll plaza in Fort Lee Friday morning when he saw a black Porsche drive through an EZ-Pass toll lane with no EZ-Pass tag and no front license plate, said police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.
Gonzalez stopped the car. A records search revealed at the driver, Alfonso M. Ordde, 42, of Staten Island, New York, owed more than $108,000 on more than 1,500 tolls violations and fees, Pentangelo said.

Ordde was arrested, charged with theft and issued traffic summonses, Pentangelo said. The Porsche was impounded.
