Man Survives Being Wedged Between Tractor-Trailers On GWB: Police
The man was wedged inside a Mercedes Benz. He had to be cut out of it, police said.

FORT LEE, N.J. — A man had to be cut out of Mercedes Benz after it was crushed by two tractor-trailers on the George Washington Bridge Monday morning, police said.
The Mercedes Benz, two tractor-trailers and an SUV were traveling eastbound on the bridge's upper level at about 11:30 a.m. were all involved in the crash, said Joseph Pentangelo, a Port Authority Police spokesman.
The Mercedez Benz was smashed between the two tractor-trailers, Pentangelo said. The accident occurred near the bridge's New York tower.

The driver was wedged inside the Mercedes Benz and had to be cut out by Port Authority Police Emergency Service Unit, Pentangelo said.
The driver's left arm was broken and he had bruises, police said. He was taken to Harlem Hospital for treatment at 11:45 a.m.

No summonses were issued as a result of the crash, Pentangelo said.
