Bergen County residents and business owners are invited to learn the facts and understand the impact of October 1 Open Enrollment Day under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Speakers and panelists will clarify aspects of ACA that are often misrepresented or misunderstood. Issues covered will include new health insurance options and costs for individuals and small businesses, changes in Medicare and Medicaid, recommended health plans, patients’ rights and protections, and free preventive services.
