Woman Dies After George Washington Bridge Jump

A New York City harbor unit recovered her body at 7:30 a.m., and then brought it to the 125th Street Pier, authorities said.

A 44-year-old New York woman died Sunday after she jumped from the George Washington Bridge, according to the Port Authority.

Witnesses saw her jump at about 7 a.m. from the north walkway, according to nj.com. Her car was later recovered at Fort Lee Historic Park.
