The Joseph J. Catena School in Freehold hosted a Family Fun Night on September 28th. The school PTO and wellness council created an event centered on exercise and eating right. There were 204 people in attendance and all were encouraged to try out 3 different fitness activities; yoga, zumba and an obstacle course. They were also treated to a healthy snacking table. All families who participated were entered into a raffle for prizes which included trick or treat bags, $10 Wegmans gift cards, a Yonana smoothie maker, and a bike. All the prizes were donated by Wegmans.
The Catena School PTO and Wellness Council are devoted to educating families about the importance of exercising and eating right!
