GALLOWAY, NJ — One person has died and 18 residences were destroyed in a blaze at a Galloway apartment building last month, authorities said.
The Apache Court fire, which took place shortly after 5 a.m. on Oct. 29, stemmed from unit 27, though Galloway police didn’t provide additional details as to how the fire started.
All building occupants save for one were able to be accounted for after the fire, police said; human remains confirmed through the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office were later discovered in the debris of the partially collapsed building.
