Absecon Man Tried Burglarizing Vehicles Around Galloway: Police

He tried to burglarize several vehicles around Donegal Lane and Irish Lane, police said.

GALLOWAY, NJ — An Absecon man tried burglarizing several vehicles early Saturday morning in Galloway, according to police. A Donegal Lane resident called police after seeing a man walking through the neighborhood and trying to break into parked cars at different homes.

The caller remained on the line until losing sight of the suspect, who walked toward Irish Lane, police said. Patrol units found Eric Boukhediche on that street, and he matched the 911 caller's description, according to authorities.

Boukhediche, 32, of Absecon, walked away from the scene when K-9 Officer Lopez and K-9 Colt stopped him.

Further investigation revealed that Boukhediche tried to burglarize several vehicles around Donegal Lane and Irish Lane in the early morning, police said.

Boukhediche was arrested without incident, and his charges were placed on a warrant. Authorities put him in the Atlantic County Jail pending a future court date.
