AG Looks Into 2 Atlantic Co. Deaths, Including A Police Shooting
A SWAT team also found a dead man in a Galloway home with a gunshot wound to his head.
GALLOWAY, NJ — The Attorney General's Office announced investigations Thursday into two separate Atlantic County deaths.
As authorities conducted a search warrant Thursday morning into a Galloway home, they found a dead man with a gunshot wound to his head. The AG's Office is also investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in Ventnor.

In Galloway, authorities conducted a search into the home of a 27-year-old man who was found dead. Members of the county SWAT team entered his home on Oakbourne Avenue to find him in his bedroom with a gunshot wound to his head.
Authorities found a handgun near his body. His name has not been publicly released.

Police-Involved Shooting In Ventnor
The AG's Office has released few details about a shooting from law enforcement in Ventnor. The incident occurred shortly after 4:15 p.m. Thursday at Wellington Avenue and West End Avenue.
Authorities are seeking to identify the decedent, who was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. The AG's Office of Public Integrity and Accountability is conducting the investigation.
The office said it will not release further information at this time.
