Although it’s located at 151 New Jersey Avenue in Absecon, Friendly Deli feels more like home.
The staff makes you feel welcome as they answer your questions while slicing up various meats and cheeses. Fresh rolls are ready for the picking, as well as a selection of snacks, including potato and macaroni salads.

They are available for catering, eating in, phone orders, prepared foods or take out. There are tables set up outside for dining on sunny days, complete with umbrellas to provide some shade. The deli is open for breakfast and lunch, from 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday.
