Bites Nearby: Sunryser Country Store and Deli

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Galloway Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

Sunryser Country Store and Deli, located at 632 North Shore Road in Absecon, is probably best known for its breakfasts. The cozy spot on Route 9 is known for its pumpkin pancakes, banana pecan French toast, waffles and omelets.

Lunch options include cheese steaks, hot and cold sandwiches and salads, and there is also a full deli. They also sell “country” knickknacks.
