Bites Nearby: Vincenzo's

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Galloway Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

Vincenzo’s Restaurant (patch.com/L-lLZs): Formerly located in Smithville, Vincenzo’s is now located at 28 South New York Rd., in a complex with a window company and a doctor’s office, and it resides in a bigger place while offering the same great food.

Vincenzo’s claims to offer Italian food at its best, and its menu is plentiful. House specialties include fresh seafood, jumbo shrimp entrees and steaks, including a porterhouse, filet mignon and New York strip. The surf and turf comes with a filet mignon, two jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab imperial, roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach.

The restaurant also offers burgers, steaks and pizzas, as well as stromboli and subs. They offer catering on and off site, and the restaurant has a party room available.

Vincenzo’s is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and offers take out and delivery. It can be reached at 609-652-2299.
