Brooklyn Woman Charged With Running Egg Harbor Township Brothel

The brothel took in up to 10 customers a day and has been suspected of operating for two years, according to the sheriff.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Brooklyn woman was charged with running a brothel out of an Egg Harbor Township home. The Delilah Road establishment took in up to 10 customers per day and has been suspected of operating for two years, according to the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office.

Heng Wan, 42, was charged with operating a house of prostitution. She was released.

The arrest was the result of a five-month investigation on the Delilah Road home suspected of operating as a brothel. Authorities received a tip from a concerned citizen about prostitution out of the home.

Detectives executed a search warrant and found cash and evidence of prostitution in the home, the ASCO said.

The ASCO, Egg Harbor Township Police Department and the FBI Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force executed the search warrant. No other information is available at this time, according to Sheriff Eric Scheffler.
