Local events and happenings....sustain your mind !

Hello I'm Ava Holly and welcome to “Our little Blog Patch”....

Today I'd like to talk about our state of minds.... Holidays are coming, a New Year is around the corner and with the beautiful sun shining today, let's find a place to feed our minds with good things....

First, we have a local music scene that is very underutilized, if I may. We have some great local talent in the area, some great promoters and we still just slip under the radar with entertainment. Stay tuned for a new entertainment vehicle in that niche market. In the meantime, come out and join us Fridy as some cool local bands take the stage at the Grand Fromage.... MWM, Freebase, The Bronson Special, Bad Year, Out Lips, the Joanies and at midnight come see the re birth of SACRED SWORD.

This is not just a plug for the night, this is a chance to come out and support local talent and local entertainment..... This area needs a shot in the arm with all kinds of things and this is just one of those things....supporting the LOCAL activities and events..... Small business Saturday is coming up on Nov. 30th.... this is another way to come out and take care of those establishments that take care of us all year long.

There are events happening all around town to help promote a healthy lifestyle...companies are getting on board to make themselves and their employees, families and what have you better aware of the health of our nation. This all happens with awareness.

This is all part of emersing yourself into the community and what it has to offer to keep our minds and bodies sharp in whatever state we are going through....

On Dec. 8th, the first ever STEPS event takes place at the Rams Head Inn. (Success Talks from Extraordinary Platform Speakers) YOU.....ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL !

We need all these things to move ourselves forward..... find a venue to see our local talent, find a mentor, get into a mastermind group, attend events.....

Life is not meant to have a destination.........it's meant to be a journey...... remember when it is YOUR time to rest, you want to arrive at that place beat, up, worn out , sliding in sideways and screaming at the top of your lungs..........”Man , what a ride !”

Join us at some of these awesome events. Get out into the community and show your support.... in turn you will be supporting yourself !
