Preparing for Sweat AC 2013

In late September, those who love to stay in shape will once again converge in Atlantic City for “Sweat AC 2013.” This is the “go to” place to learn the latest in healthy living, exercise technology, and nutrition. Regardless of fitness level, anyone can benefit from attending this conference.

Sweat AC will take place September 21st and 22nd with events at Bally’s, Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Showboat in Atlantic City. What might be the most anticipated event during the conference is trainer Shaun T leading classes on his Insanity workout from Beachbody. If you want to take your fitness up a level, this is certainly the challenge for you!

Each day there will be a variety of exercise classes, health and wellness seminars, and fashion shows during the Sweat AC Expo. Classes will be led by a variety of different fitness personalities and trainers in addition to Shaun T, including Jillian Michaels, trainer on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and Allie Connover, founder of Grace & Glory Yoga. And of course there will be plenty of always-popular Zumba classes!

It is important to remember when you are packing to attend Sweat AC, you will do just that – SWEAT! Make sure you bring plenty of comfortable exercise clothes as well as a pair of well-fitting and supportive sneakers. It is also a good idea to have a sweat towel, your favorite yoga mat, and a reusable water bottle, as you will need to rehydrate often.

After the classes are over, treat yourself to a walk on the boardwalk or in the sand along the ocean and enjoy the salty air. Think about treating yourself to a massage and light meal at The Spa and Salon at Bally’s. And of course you need to go shopping at all the great shops at the Atlantic City Tanger Outlets so you are ready to show off your new body!Tickets for Sweat AC 2013 can be purchased on the Sweat AC website.

Classes will range from $25 to $100 and $30 for the Sweat Expo. Additional information about class scheduling, special events and more can also be found on the Sweat AC web site. Make sure you check it out!
