Seaview Named Gold Tee Recipient

Coming on the heels of in the ShopRite LPGA Classic, the Seaview Dolce Resort was named a recipient of the 2011 Gold Tee Award, the resort announced on Monday.

Winners of the award are nominated and selected by readers of Meetings and Conventions magazine, based on overall excellence. The award is given out annually.

The magazine's core readership is 50,000 corporate, incentive and association meeting planners, and they made the selection. Seaview was one of 78 golf/meetings properties worldwide.

“The Dolce brand is recognized as a leader in the meetings industry,”  Seaview Resort general manager Stephen Prakash said. “The Gold Tee recognition is testimony of our commitment to excellence and reflects the millions of dollars in improvements that were just completed to our historic property and its award-winning championship golf courses.”

The Seaview, last year underwent major before hosting the ShopRite LPGA Classic over the weekend. The resort will host the tournament for the next three years.

The resort features 271 guest rooms and suites, in addition to 36 holes of championship golf on two renowned courses. The Seaview also boasts 27,000 square feet of premier meeting and special event space.
