8-Year-Old Girl Was Fatally Shot In Crossfire Of Escalating Feud
Tyhan Brown was targeting Amir Dixon after Brown's mother's car was shot at earlier in the day, the assistant prosecutor said on Tuesday.

An 8-year-old girl who was fatally shot in Camden last month was caught up in the middle of an escalating feud, the Courier Post reports.
Gabrielle Carter-Hill was running for safety at a neighbor’s home when gunfire broke out near her house at about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 24.
However, the intended target of the shooting ran in the same direction. Instead of shooting Amir Dixon, 18-year-old Tyhan Brown ended up shooting Carter-Hill in the head, according to the report.

Brown was arrested in Tennessee two weeks ago at a relative’s home. His mother, 35-year-old Shakia Land, and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Natasha Gerald, of Sicklerville, have each been charged with hindering apprehension.
References were also made to a juvenile who may have been involved in the feud, but not the shooting itself.
Brown’s bail was set at $1.5 million cash.
