Arrest Made In Fatal Lindenwold Shooting
Trayshawn Simpson of Camden was arrested on charges related to the shooting death of Alvin Redd, police said.
LINDENWOLD, NJ — A Camden man was arrested Wednesday on charges stemming from a fatal shooting that occurred last week in Lindenwold, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Trayshawn Simpson, 20, of Camden, was taken into custody in New Castle, Delaware on a charge of first-degree murder related to the shooting death of Alvin Redd, authorities said.
Simpson will be held at a prison in Delaware pending extradition to New Jersey, according to authorities.

On Friday at about 8:09 p.m., police discovered Redd lying in the 400 block of West Park Avenue in Lindenwold, authorities previously reported. Redd was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead later that evening, authorities previously reported.
A second man who was hurt during a fight related to the shooting also had to be treated for injuries, according to authorities.

The investigation into the shooting continues.
