Cats In Need Of Home After Owner Killed In Gloucester Township Accident

All the cats are fixed and up for adoption.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Stray cats who were taken in by a loving couple find themselves homeless after the man was killed in an accident on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township.

Charlie Beehler, 55, was killed after being hit by a car while walking on The Black Horse Pike in the area of The Fox Croft Apartment Complex on April 30. He and his wife, Martha, had just moved in the day before, according to a Facebook post.

Martha, who is also 55, has no family and will be moving to an assisted living facility. She will be unable to bring their cats with her. All the cats are fixed, but need updated vaccinations.
