Drunk Driver Who Killed Gloucester Twp. Man Gets Sentenced
Julia R. Scanlon, who ran a red light before the 3-car crash, will serve time behind bars for a restaurant manager's death.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman who ran a red light while intoxicated and killed a Gloucester Township restaurant manager has been sentenced to prison.
Julia R. Scanlon, 37, was sentenced April 8 to five years behind bars for vehicular homicide from reckless driving. Scanlon, of Sewell, must serve at least four years and three months of her prison term.

Frank J. Bersani, 56, of Laurel Springs, worked for several decades at Cotardo's Italian Restaurant, most recently serving as general manager of the eatery.
