The proposed annual increase for a home assessed at $190,000 is $209.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Gloucester Township Council introduced a $57,950,948 budget that includes a proposed tax rate increase of 11 cents during its meeting Monday night at the municipal building.
The tax increase means the owner of the average home in Gloucester Township assessed at $190,000 will pay an extra $209 in taxes annually. The total tax increase is $4,536,546.
Business Administrator Tom Cardis said the increase is the result of two storms that hit the region over the last year.
