Red Cross Assists 21 Victims Of 2 Gloucester Township House Fires
The fires were on La Cascata Drive and Loch Lomond Drive on Friday.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- The American Red Cross New Jersey Region is currently assisting at least 98 people in 33 families who have been displaced by recent home fires across the state, including 21 people in Gloucester Township, the organization announced on Monday.
The Red Cross Disaster Action Team provided care and emergency assistance for temporary lodging, food and clothing to 11 people in three families displaced by a fire on La Cascata Drive in Clementon on Friday.

On the same day, they helped two families displaced by a fire at their Loch Lomond Drive homes in the Sicklerville section of the township.
Volunteers met with the 10 people affected, and provided Red Cross emergency assistance for temporary lodging, food and clothing.

Comfort kits containing personal care items were also provided to the families affected by these fires.
Red Cross volunteers remain available to the families for support, counseling and referrals to local agencies that may provide long-term assistance during their recovery.
A Go Fund Me campaign to assist a woman displaced by this fire had reached nearly $2,000 of its $3,000 goal as of Monday afternoon.
All emergency assistance is free to those affected by disasters and is made possible through the donation of time by dedicated Red Cross volunteers and the generosity of the American public.
Red Cross has also been assisting with fire victims in Paulsboro, Woodbury and Bridgeton in South Jersey, as well as numerous towns in the northern portion of the state.
