Triton Wins Tournament of Bands Championship

won the Tournament of Bands Atlantic Coast Championship at Timber Creek High School on Saturday with a score of 91.80.

The event was a make-up competition that was supposed to happen last Saturday at Avon Grove High School, in West Grove, PA, but weather forced its postponement.

The 2011 Triton Mustangs marching band is: Krista Arena, Cassie Bailey, Jessica Bartleson, Jenna Derrickson, Amy Evans, Matthew Gladue, Meghan Gladue, Kaitlyn Gonzales, Sara Hanna, Dylan Hiotakis, Eric Hunt, Cory Jordan, Brenna Lewis, Saro Mazzatta, Dorthea Monaghan, Taylor Mullen, Scott Nickelsberg, Erin O'Leary, Kyle Ryan, Richard Schiavone, Lauren Somaine, Aoife White, Sarah White, Matthew Wilhelm and Brandon Wood.

also performed in an exhibition.

Gateway Regional High School placed fifth, Catasauqua High School placed fourth, Mount Union Area High School was third and Cumberland Regional High School came in second.
