Five Bergen County Academies Students Named 2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholars

On January 7, 2026, the Society for Science announced
the top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search 2026, the nation's oldest and most prestigious science, and math competition for high school seniors.
More than 2,600 students from across the country entered the competition, which provides a national stage for students to present original research and celebrates the hard work and innovative
discoveries of young scientists addressing significant global challenge.

Congratulations to the five Bergen County Academies students who were named Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholars:. Mythreya Dharani of Paramus, Bryan Ding of Closter, Claire Jiang of Ft. Lee, Edward Kang of Hackensack, and Ngoc Khanh Tran of Dumont.
On January 21, 2026, 40 of the 300 scholars will be named Regeneron Science Talent Search finalists. Finalists will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC., from March 5-11, 2026, when they
compete for more than $1.8 million in awards provided by Regeneron.
