A Care on the Corner Workshop

Care on the Corner, 251 State Street, Hackensack, is excited to offer A COTC Improv Workshop Improv for children in grades 3 – 7.

Let’s laugh! In this comedy workshop, we’ll play a variety of short-form improv games that allow students to use their imaginations to create unique characters and scenes. Teamwork is encouraged as we develop skills in pantomime, exploring emotions, and active listening. This workshop will have students up and moving (and laughing!) all hour long.

Dreena Moran, the workshop director, is an improviser and professional voice actor from New Jersey. She has trained at The Peoples Improv Theater, UCB, The Magnet, and The Barrow Group in NYC with a focus on improv, musical improv, acting, clowning, and filmmaking. She has been teaching improv to kids and adults throughout the tri-state area for nearly a decade. Dreena currently performs in Hackensack, NJ with professional improv team Howdy Stranger.
