Hackettstown Man Hid From Police In Closet, Still Got Arrested: Police

The man was wanted on heroin charges.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ— The closet is not a very effective way to hide from police when you're wanted on heroin charges, as one man learned in Hackettstown over the weekend.

Police showed up to 20-year-old Ian Rossi's apartment on Saturday to serve him with a warrant from Mansfield Township. Rossi attempted to hide in the closet, locking himself inside the apartment, police said.

Rossi was located by police, who found a hypodermic syringe in his possession according to police. In addition to the original heroin charges, Rossi was also charged with possession of a needle, and obstructing administration of the law.
