Madison Street Roadwork Update Brings Closures, Parking Restrictions (patch.com) — Drivers in Hackettstown should plan around closures on Madison Street this week as crews finish milling and paving for the Madison Street Improvements Project. Work is closing the road to through traffic, rerouting drivers with police-directed detours, and banning parking in the work zone during daytime hours. The project has already upgraded curbs and sidewalks with ADA-compliant ramps, and the remaining schedule may shift with weather or other issues.

The coordinated effort responds to high crash and fatality rates during the holiday, and police urge residents to plan sober rides, slow down, and buckle up on every trip.
4. Family Promise of Warren County receives $20,000 grant from Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center Community Advisory Board (wrnjradio.com) — A $20,000 grant from Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center's Community Advisory Board will help Family Promise of Warren County support medically vulnerable residents facing housing instability. Over the next year, the Home Rx: Housing for Health program aims to connect about 150 people with stable housing, primary or behavioral health care, and intensive case management across the Hackettstown–Warren County area.
