5 To Run In Special Election For Open Haddonfield Seat
Five candidates filed petitions to run in Nov. 5's special election for an open seat on the Haddonfield Board of Commissioners.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Five candidates will run in a special election to fill the seat that was vacated when Haddonfield Commissioner John Moscatelli resigned earlier this year.
Moscatelli resigned because he is moving out of the area. In July, Robert Marshall was appointed to fill the seat until a special election on Nov. 5. Marshall filed a petition to run in that special election by the 4 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Four others also filed petitions by the deadline, according to the Haddonfield Clerk’s Office. The winner will serve until May 2021, when all three commissioners seats will expire. The others who filed were:

- Colleen Bianco Bezich;
- Kathryn Raiczyk;
- Gregory Peltz; and
- Herbert Hess.
According to the borough’s website, the polling places for this special election will be:
- District 1 & 5 — Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Road
- District 2 — Mabel Kay House, 24 Walnut Street, (1st Floor)
- District 3 — Crows Woods Building, 993 South Atlantic Avenue (off Upland Way)
- District 4 — Mabel Kay House, 24 Walnut Street, (2nd Floor)
- District 6 & 7 — Elizabeth Haddon School (Art Room), 501 West Redman Ave.
- District 8 & 9 — Evangelical Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 204 Wayne Avenue
- District 10 — Borough Hall, 242 East Kings Highway
