Arrest Made In South Jersey Deli Owner's Murder: Police
Dyheam Williams, 18 of Lindenwold, was arrested in the murder of 52-year-old Jerome Pastore, who owned Shamrock Delicatessen in Audubon.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — An 18-year-old Lindenwold man has been arrested and charged in the murder of a South Jersey deli owner, authorities announced Sunday morning.
Dyheam Williams was arrested at his home in connection with the murder 52-year-old Jerome Pastore, of West Berlin, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Haddon Township Police Chief Mark Cavallo.
Pastore, the owner of the Shamrock Delicatessen on Davis Avenue in Audubon, died on Friday after Williams stabbed him during an altercation, according to authorities.

Sources told 6 ABC Pastore was stabbed after he confronted a man who attempted to steal the tip jar from his deli. The confrontation occurred outside.
Oaklyn, Audubon and Haddon Township Police responded to the diner at about 4:50 p.m. on Jan. 3 for multiple reports of a man who had been stabbed, according to authorities.

Arriving officers found Pastore across the street from the diner, on Cuthbert Boulevard, suffering from apparent stab wounds. Pastore was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries at 5:07 p.m.

Williams was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was remanded to the Camden County Jail pending a pretrial detention hearing.
