Canna-business questions answered at special event
Not to be missed: Haddonfield resident Cheryl Squadrito to moderate a cannabis business panel on Nov. 17
Professionals working in the cannabis space are invited to meet like-minded individuals at a networking lunch and panel starting at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov 17 at Ramblewood Country Club. Five of South Jersey’s cannabis-industry leaders will be sharing their knowledge in the panel.
This event, hosted by Businesses Committee to South Jersey, is targeted for those working in the supply chain for the budding cannabis industry, for example those at accounting firms, law firms, security companies, banks, investment firms, farming, logistics and transportation.
“We have real estate and other professionals in our group who know this exciting industry is coming to New Jersey in a big way. We have members that would like to have tenants, bankers and attorneys who would like to have these businesses as clients,” said BCSJ board Vice President and Director of Practice Growth at Alloy Silverstein, Angela Venti. “Businesses Committed to South Jersey is focused on the economic development of South Jersey and we believe this is an amazing opportunity for businesses in our area.”

Venti worked with strategic communication specialist, Cheryl Squadrito, to organize the panel. Squadrito founded Media Friendly PR and has a proven track record of producing well-attended, informative cannabis networking events in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Squadrito will moderate the event.

In 2017, Media Friendly launched the cannabis division of the firm in honor of her sister’s valiant battle with cancer.
