Chic and Cheery Holiday Tree Auction by Haddonfield Rotary Club

‘Tis the season to haul your Christmas tree out of storage and test its pre-lit boughs, or finagle a fresh fir into your car and then into your home and somehow into a secure tree stand. That’s before sorting through boxes of ancient ornaments and untangling strings of lights and garlands and WHERE are those ornament hooks we bought last year?!

Resist the inner Grinch that hovers over the holiday hassle. Find some festive Feng shui in the middle of Haddonfield. There’s a pop-up grove of gorgeous holiday trees at the Haddonfield Public Library, the first-ever Holiday Tree Exhibition and Auction by The Rotary Club of Haddonfield.

Twelve in all, they vary in size, style and theme and are valued at $300 to $500 apiece. Each is lavishly and lovingly decorated by local organizations and individuals and ready to take its place in a home or business. Funds raised through the sale support Rotary initiatives across the region.

Instant tree – beautiful and unique – helping your neighbors: it’s a win-win-win.

New baby in the fam? There’s a Baby’s First Christmas tree. If teal is your favorite color, you’ll have a hard time deciding between the seashore-themed tree (the tree itself is turquoise!) and one decked out in peacock feathers. There’s a tree covered in hand-folded, crystal-trimmed origami and a stunner in gleaming musical instruments. And that’s not even half of them.

Bid early and bid often! You have until Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. Trees to be picked up and paid for by winners on Monday, December 13 between 10 a.m. and noon and Tuesday, December 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
