ChildrenSong to Perform at Radio City Music Hall

Haddonfield, NJ — ChildrenSong of New Jersey, South Jersey's beloved community children's choir known for its beautiful harmonies and captivating performances, is excited to announce that it has been selected to perform at Radio City Music Hall on November 17, 2024, as part of the world-famous Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.
Chosen through audition that selects only one choir to perform a cappella at the beginning of each show during the holiday season, ChildrenSong will be featured in a special performance before the noon show on November 17, marking a significant milestone in the choir’s 25th anniversary year. This will be the choir’s second time performing at the legendary venue; their first performance at Radio City was in 2022.
“We are beyond excited and honored to perform at Radio City Music Hall, especially as part of such a beloved tradition as the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular,” said Polly Murray, Director of ChildrenSong. “This is an incredible opportunity for our singers to not only share their passion for music but also to experience the magic of this iconic venue. It’s a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
For this special occasion, ChildrenSong will perform a treble arrangement of the spiritual "Gotta Whisper, Gotta Shout", arranged by Victor C. Johnson. Originally set for mixed voices, this new arrangement was created specifically for the choir’s performance at Radio City and serves as a fitting tribute to the choir’s 25th anniversary year.
