Historical Society of Haddonfield's Annual Candlelight Dinner

The Annual Candlelight Dinner is Wednesday March 28th at Tavistock Country Club. This year's program will feature guest speaker Ed Mauger.  As the creator of the enormously entertaining "Philadelphia on Foot" walking tours and a former resident, Ed is Haddonfield's very own Sidewalk Storyteller.  Author, tour guide and retired Associate Dean of Rutgers Camden, he will cover all the historical celebrities from William Penn and Ben Franklin to Nucky Johnson.   You'll get the inside scoop behind our extraordinary region - the stuff not covered in history books!  You'll learn about Philadelphia's first "Rambo," the "bachelor tax," and in honor of this political season, he is offering his special tour "Exercise Your Rights" - a walking tour for staunch conservatives with all right turns.   Ed has appeared as a guest on Good Morning America, PBS and the History Channel.  His tours have been hailed by Forbes traveler and the Chicago Tribune.  Cash bar and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6pm, followed by dinner at 7pm.
