Women-owned public relations firm unveils a new cannabis marketing division

HADDONFIELD, NJ – Media Friendly LLC founder and CEO, Cheryl Squadrito, recently launched the cannabis marketing division and networking group called the Cheryl’s Lists. Now that adult use cannabis is legal in New Jersey, many business owners are curious about the once-taboo substance and want to explore legal business opportunities.

“It was difficult to find a professional networking space for businesspeople and entrepreneurs, so I started a group. I didn’t want to wait for someone else to step up,” says Squadrito, a former journalist who has worked in public relations for 15 years.

Since 2017, Media Friendly has hosted large public events and small invitation-only gatherings, which enabled those in the cannabis space to connect and network. Cheryl’s Lists takes the group to the next level.

Cannabis is in the public conversation, especially in the Philadelphia region. The firm addressed that and doubled its network of leading professionals in the budding field. Cheryl’s Lists is the result of network’s expansion, turning the division into a one-stop-shop for cannabis-related services, products and advisory.

“When the citizens of New Jersey approved adult-use recreational use marijuana, the business community leveled up looking for ways to enter the market. Media Friendly always made it easier for them to earn business and get results,” Squadrito said. “It’s been very satisfying to help companies to boost their bottom lines and get answers in the cannabis field, especially since the laws and rulings are ever-changing.”
