Paul VI High School Announces Production of 'Footloose'

"Footloose" performances run on select dates from Friday, Feb. 19 through Wednesday, Feb. 27.

“Footloose” bursts onto the Paul VI High School stage Friday, Feb. 19, inspired by the 1984 film, filled with high-energy dancing and a chart-topping score. “Footloose” is the story of American spirit, a carefree city kid transplanted to a rural town where dancing is forbidden. He takes on authorities, brings dancing back to the town and wins the girl. Featuring hits such as “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Almost Paradise,” Holding out for a Hero” and the title song, “Footloose,” by Kenny Loggins, this production will bring audiences to their feet.

“Footloose” runs Friday, Feb. 19; Thursday, Feb. 20; Friday, Feb. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a performance on Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. All performances are scheduled to take place at Paul VI High School, located at 901 Hopkins Rd. in Haddonfield. Alumni night is Feb. 26. Tickets are available beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19 at $12 per person. Individuals seeking further information must contact Nicole Estrella via nestrella@pvihs.org.
