2 Arrested In Double Shooting In Somerset County
Both Dewitt T. Gilmore IV, 32, of New Rochelle, New York and Ainslee J. Clark, 28, of Middlesex were arrested in Hillsborough.

MANVILLE, NJ — Two people were arrested in connection with a double shooting in Manville that injured two men this past weekend, announced Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor.
Dewitt T. Gilmore IV, 32, of New Rochelle, New York and Ainslee J. Clark, 28,of Middlesex were charged in relation to the shooting in the area of North Weiss Street in the early morning hours on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Just after 5 a.m., a 911 call reported a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of South Main Street, said McDonald. Read More: 2 Men Hospitalized In Manville Shooting

Manville Police Officers found an adult man with a gunshot wound who said he was shot while in a home in the area of North Weiss Street, said McDonald.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Manville Police Officers then went to the home in the area of North Weiss Street where they found a second adult man who had a gunshot wound, said McDonald.
That man was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both men are expected to survive their injuries.
Gilmore was identified as a suspect in the shooting of both men following an investigation by Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Detectives from the Manville Police Department.
On Monday, Gilmore was arrested without incident in Hillsborough and charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder, one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and one count of second-degree possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
Additionally, Clark was also arrested without incident on Monday in Hillsborough and charged with second-degree possession of CDS with intent to distribute and fourth-degree obstruction.
Both were taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting.
