The 64-year-old Franklin Park resident has been charged with a disorderly persons offense and given a Hillsborough Municipal Court date, following circulation of the disturbing training video.
2. Hillsborough Marks Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month With Teal Ribbon Ceremony (patch.com) — Hillsborough residents now have September officially recognized as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, following a teal ribbon ceremony at the municipal building with Mayor Catherine Payne and local police. The township is urging women and families to learn key risk factors and symptoms, stressing that early detection remains the best defense against this often hard-to-detect disease.
3. 10 DWI Arrests, Shoplifting, Mail Theft Reported In Hillsborough (patch.com) — Hillsborough's August police blotter details 10 DWI arrests, multiple shoplifting cases at Weis Markets, and several reports of stolen or tampered mail and property damage across local streets.
