Man Who Sat On Calf Struggling To Breathe At Hillsborough Farm Faces Charges (patch.com) — Hillsborough residents are learning more about an animal cruelty case at a local River Road farm, where police say a man was recorded sitting on a calf that appeared to struggle to breathe. The 64-year-old Franklin Park resident has been charged with a disorderly persons offense and given a Hillsborough Municipal Court date, following circulation of the disturbing training video.

Hillsborough Marks Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month With Teal Ribbon Ceremony (patch.com) — Hillsborough residents now have September officially recognized as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, following a teal ribbon ceremony at the municipal building with Mayor Catherine Payne and local police.
