Car Burglaries, DWI Arrests, Thefts Reported In Hillsborough
Hillsborough Police released its latest blotter for the month of September.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Car burglaries, thefts, DWI arrests were reported recently in the Hillsborough Police blotter for the month of September.
On Sept. 1: Bruce Donovan, 68, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI on River Road during a motor vehicle crash investigation. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Sept. 2: A resident of Taylor Avenue reported a man stole two of his Somerset County Recycling cans, which they valued at $200. The incident was caught on surveillance. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 4: Noah Ellison, 25, of Clementon, Jaliyah Rivera, 19, of Toms River, and Micah Trawick, 24, of Jackson were all issued summonses for soliciting at Nelson’s Corner (601 Rt. 206). They were also charged with hindering after providing fake names. They were released with Hillsborough Township Municipal Court dates.
On Sept. 12: A resident of Amwell Road reported his 2023 Dodge Ram pickup truck was stolen out of the parking lot. They reported the vehicle was locked and keys were inside the residence. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 12: A resident of Deanna Drive reported an Amazon package valued at $200 was stolen from the front porch. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sept. 15: Bottle King at 626 Route 206 reported 3 suspects (2 men, 1 woman) shoplifted $725.80 of alcohol before fleeing in a red Jeep. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sept. 16: Precious Taylor, 41, of Somerville was arrested on a traffic stop on Route 206 after providing a fake name. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Sept. 17: Vladmir McCloskey, 31, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Victoria Court. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.
On Sept. 19: A resident of Treeman Drive reported a vacuum worth $109.99 was stolen after being delivered by Amazon. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sept. 19: Odilberto Mendoza-Diaz, 51, of New Brunswick was arrested for hindering after providing a fake name while on a traffic stop on Camplain Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Sept. 19: Zaahid Meekins, 23, of Philadelphia, PA, Hasan Anderson, 21, of Bear, DE, and Jeremiah Brooks, 18, of Wilmington, DE, Lloyd Brooks, 21, of Wilmington, DE, and Myrna Gomez, 21, of Wilkes-Barre, PA were all summonsed for soliciting without a permit in the area of Robin Road. They were all released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Sept. 21: A resident of Route 206 reported his 2019 Dodge Charger was stolen from the parking lot. He valued the vehicle at $35,000 and stated it was locked and the keys were inside the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sept. 23: A resident of Perrine Pike reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and her purse was stolen. At the time of the report, there were already charges to her credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sept. 25: A resident of Shelburne Place reported their unlocked vehicle was entered and a purse was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
